The Björn Borg Performance Hipsters 2-pack are training underwear made from soft recycled polyamide microfibre jersey with a super stretch quality. With laser cut edges to avoid visible seams, they have a mid-rise waist and medium back coverage, and an iconic signature heat-seal logo on the hip.

A large part of the materials in our products are recycled. We use recycled polyester and recycled polyamide. Recycled polyamide is made from plastics from industrial waste as well as plastics from the oceans such as fishing nets and plastic mats.

Recycled polyester is mainly made from PET bottles and industrial waste. In production, less water and less energy are used. It also generates up to 30% less carbon dioxide emissions compared to new polyester.

All our recycled yarns come from vendors that hold a Global Recycle Standard certificate. It is an independent, third-party certification of recycled content addressing traceability, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions. Validity of the certification is checked for every new collection.

I bought similar hipsters more years ago than I would reveal at gunpoint and it was (more than) time for new ones, I really appreciated the quality of the old ones but still thought it was reasonable to expect the fabric to stretch plus I gained a few pounds. So I had a hard time choosing a size, should I take a size bigger? After much consideration I chose the same size as the old ones and when the package arrived I put the new ones on the old ones to compare sizes. Mindblown, the old ones were maybe 5 millimeters bigger, that's what you call quality and durability!
