De Björn Borg Borg Retro Swim Shorts is een klassieke zwemshort, gemaakt van 100% gerecycled polyester met een vochtafvoerende werking, zodat het materiaal sneller droogt. Dit slim-fit model heeft een kortere lengte en is gestyled met een aansnoerbaar trekkoord bij de elastische taille voor een pasvorm op maat, zijzakken en een binnenbroek van mesh. De achterzak sluit met klittenband om je essentials veilig op te bergen. Een klein geweven logolabel op de achterkant rondt dit item kenmerkend af.

Een groot deel van de materialen die we in onze producten gebruiken is gerecycled, zoals gerecycled polyester en gerecyclede polyamide. Gerecyclede polyamide wordt gemaakt van plastic uit industrieel afval en van plastic uit de oceanen, zoals visnetten en plastic matten.

Gerecycled polyester wordt voornamelijk gemaakt van plastic flessen en industrieel afval. Bij de productie wordt minder water en minder energie gebruikt. Ook genereert het tot 30% minder CO2-uitstoot in vergelijking met nieuw polyester.

Al onze gerecyclede garens zijn afkomstig van GRS-gecertificeerde leveranciers (GRS - Global Recycle Standard). Dit is een onafhankelijke, third-party certificering van gerecyclede content die gericht is op traceerbaarheid, sociale en milieupraktijken en chemische restricties. Bij elke nieuwe collectie wordt de geldigheid van de certificering gecontroleerd.
